Oak Wood Dining Table CH327, various sizes

The CH327 dining table by Hans J. Wegner from 1962 is a good example of how creativity combined with excellent craftsmanship can result in an extraordinary, interesting design. The CH327 is a solid wood dining table with soft edges and rounded legs that taper to the floor. The grain of the wood follows the length of the tabletop, which is supported by three different rails. This gives the impression that the tabletop is floating. At each end are two removable legs connected by a cross brace. The legs and braces provide lateral stability, while the side rails provide longitudinal stability. The side rails are higher on the table legs and closer together to increase legroom when sitting. This table seats up to ten people. Made in Denmark
